I need to know what to do afte I have skinned an animal like a squirrel or rabbit. I have recently shot a large male red squirrel with my bow and ruined the head so I just wanted to skin it for its pelt and did not know what to put on it. My dad said to put salt on it but that just made it hard and crispy. I know that I am going to get more tomorrow or sometime this week and I want to do it right next time.

Click on the search button to the left and type in skinning or tannong squirrels. There's alot more after salting. That's just the beginning.
With a squirrel you can make a incesion at the leg and work your way to the ankle, do the same with the other leg until you reach the base of the tale, stripe the tale then skin up the body.
