Air Compressor

I have a Campbell/Hausfeld, 4.0 hp, 13-gallon tank air compressor. I'm considering buying a mini-flesher. Will this size compressor run a mini-flesher? Thank you, Jim

jim,
i first tried using the same size compressor with my mini flesher....it works great...for about 30 seconds then you have to let the tank build air back up....the flesher runs between 80 to 120 psi (supposed to be optimum) and it really uses up the air quickly...i ended up getting a larger compressor (40 gallon) and now can run the flesher non-stop as long as i like...and i personally would not even attempt to flesh and / or thin hides without it..hope this answers your questions

WORKS FINE.

Because after about 10 minutes of useing this converted die grinder that sucks the flesh instead of cutting it you will probably chunk it.I know there are probably alot of folks that swear by them but it will not FLESH!I think its even called the mini shaver now in the new WASCO catalog. If you really want to FLESH a green cape, get the portable flesher from authentic taxidermy ,yes it will even flesh the large chunks of meat with no problems.I can flesh all but the face in 20 minutes.
