WASCO soft tan oil

Submitted by susie on 10/15/01. ( ) 64.254.206.19

I was going through the instructions in the Breakthrough Bird Taxidermy manual and the procedure in the manual for tanning a bird skin involves using True Tan Skin Conditioner as the last step in tanning. Is WASCO soft tan tanning oil the same product? I can not find the true tan skin conditioner in the catalog, thought maybe the name changed.
Thanks

I thought the True Tan and the Skin Conditioner were 2 different things. I just called WASCO and they said they no longer make the True Tan Skin Conditioner. Would the WASCO Soft Tan be comparable to the skin condtioner?

No need for skin conditioner

The current version of True-Tan Bird Tan is a one-step process which does not require the addition of a skin conditioner.
