Boars

All the boars I've ever seen (dead or alive) or worked on have white mouth interiors that are tinged with pink blush right around the teeth bases. But forget that in this industry. Boar mouths tend to be pink to purple. All I can suggest is look at your specimen when it's fresh and write your own paint schedule.

FP165 Flesh

Jess, The WASCO boar jawsets are painted very lightly with Polytranspar FP165 flesh. I have several reference pictures to back it up. There is however; a very large range of acceptability of color. I also have pics of dusty pink mouths and very pale almost blue tinted mouth interiors. Usually the pale creme to white colored mouths are due to intestinal worm infestation. You actually couldn't go wrong to look inside your own mouth in the mirror with a flashlight and copy the colors you see! Don't get too bogged down in which fleshy color you choose, It is more important to keep it light. I really haven't seen real dark colors on the cheeks and palates. Then again just because I have not seen it does not mean it couldn't happen. Good luck!
