Been buying those egg forms for antler mounts and now I need one that's bigger than what I can find in my catalog. Can I cut a backboard from 3/4 plywood, wrap a heavy card around the outside, then fill it with that expanding foam you buy to shoot in cracks and stuff? That stuff looks and feels just like the foam used to make forms. Is it the same or similar enough to work? I don't want to buy a bunch more of the two-part stuff than I'll use and don't like having excess chemicals laying around the house. Thanks for the help.
All you have to do is make it out of paper mache.
