goat horn help

I have a goat horn that came from a drowned goat. When I was working with the skull the horn just popped off. It still has the core down inside, but I'm not sure how to remove it, or even if I need to. All of the advice I can find on here talkes about removing the core when you have plenty of it sticking out, or when its attached to the skull. Any suggestion or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

If you are wantig the horns on the skull for a horn mount of to use in a mnount you need to remove both horn "caps" from the core. This can be done by soaking the horns n water for 2-4 days then takng small hammer and tapping the bases, and slowly knocking the horn free from the core.
Next boil the skull and cores.
Once all the meat and tissue is removed, cut off about 2-3 inches of the core, Then using bondo, apoxie, or whatever you want, Reattach he horn to the core and voila...Your done.
