Has anyone purchased one of the several taxidermy videos from ebay? More specificaly the whitetail deer video. I was thinking of adding it to my collection butI thought I would get some input on it first.

Look who the person that is in the video. Chances are it was made by WASCO or one of the other NAME BRAND COMPANIES.
I have bought several of the ones you will find commonly on the ebay website. They are great, especially for the beginners. If you are looking for advanced techniques, you get what you pay for, basically. These items are listed under username trout17, check out his feedback, he has great feedback. These are a great bargain, as most of the videos offered through the magazines are 19.99 and up.
I have not been able to get a response email from trout17 about why I cannot purchase one of these videos.
I live in Montana and can't find out as to why he won't sell in Montana. I have tried 5 times
but have got no response.

It depends on which videos you are talking about. If they are the ones that Pete Geirke is giving instructions on mounting they would be great videos about 30 years ago. He does not use the modern forms instead he uses wood shreded and wrapes it with twine to make the bodys. His painting on fish is worse than most beginners. I'm not trying to cut his videos but I would buy some from WASCO or another company that carrys videos. The reason he cannot sell his videos in Montana is Van Dykes sells his videos and I think they are out of Montana. There are a lots of good videos out there but his are way behind time.
