First off PLEASE READ THE FORUM RULES FIRST. Typing in caps are considered yelling and is not the proper way to ask questions here. Sorry but we're not deaf and those who need glasses or not can read fine.
Now to help you out a bit you need to rehydrate the hide first. Soal the tanned hide in a gallon of water with 4oz of salt added to it. Soak it for 20 min let it drain then wrap it in a air tight plastic bag. Then place this bag in the fridge over night. This should rehydrate the hide just fine to get your proper measurements.
One thing to remember is to not stretch the hide from nose to tail but to gentle pull it nose to tail then do it width wide. This way you will get a totally different measurement than you have. But now you will have the correct one.
After you take your measurements just place it back in the bag and freeze it till you get all your supplies in.
