Aluminum Sulphate

I have read messages recenty, and in the archives that discuss using aluminum sulphate and salt to tighten and lock hair on capes that are starting to slip using 50-50 salt and aluminum sulphate both in granular and liquid form, before tanning. What about after tanning?

Can the liquid formula be used on the hair side after tanning, or would Stop-Slip provide the same results. I have both on hand but I would like to know if the a. sulphate solution would work.
Thanks for your help.

The 50-50 will save a iffy hide.

When I have one close to slipping I use it and it stops the slipping, but have never use it on a already slipping hide. I have tried Stop slip and not had any luck with it.

So are you saying that you used the liquid formula on the hair side after tanning?

Thanks
