a taxing taxonomic taxidermy question

Does anyone know if there is a technical name for the branch of taxidermy (if that's what it is) that deals specifically with the art of mounting skeletons? It isn't really taxidermy since the derm means skin. taxiosty doesn't sound very good, and osteoplasty is a medical term - is there a better word?

Thanks for the replies. Osteology would be study of bones, but doesn't really suggest the assembling (taxis) of skeletons. There's a difference between dermatology and taxidermy, I think.
I think I will go with osteotaxis or skeletotaxis.

Doubtful

Adam, "taxis" is from the Latin meaning "to move". Look up Stephen Rogers on the Search icon and ask him. GUARANTEED, He'll know for sure.

George (ge orgos = worker of the earth)
I hate to show off my classical education, but taxis is from the Greek taxis = arrangement, from the verb tasso = I arrange. It's the same stem that gives us tactics (arrangement of troops), taxonomy (arrangement of names), etc.

Then It's obvious...
