I was just wondering if anyone else has used this product and what kind of results you have had? Also what method do you use? Do you let the Liqua-tan soak in and then freeze the hide or do you let the hide dry all the way out? Your comments would be appreciated. Thank You.

Your looking for something that has been covered in the tanning section many times.
My methoid is to follow the directions:
salt 24 shake then resalt
Let the cape dry hard and then rehydrate
Place in pickle for three days take out shave then repickle for 24 hrs more.
Neturlize let drain for 30 min.
Apply warm Liqua-tan flod and let set for 4-5 hours. Then I place them in the freezer till I'm ready to mount.
After I take them out of the freezer and they thaw I wash them to get the mess I made on the hair. Then place them in a dryer with towels for 15 min, the setting should be cool.
Take out and install earliners etc etc etc.
This is another good method for using liqua tan.
Thaw cape
Split everything out
Pickle in acid for a minimum of 24 hours (I use oxalic or formic), I am sure just about any acid would work.
Flesh down and shave thoroughly, re-pickle for at least 12 hours.
Remove, let it drip, towel off, and rub in liqua tan.
roll up and freeze.
Remove the cape, and let is thaw, it thaws quickly.
Wash in dawn and baking soda, then rinse thoroughly.
Tumble, touch up and mount.
My friend brought home this method from a class he took with Joe Meder. I was using a method very similar to Frank's and was have good sucess. I tried this and also had good sucess and maybe a little better results. Good Luck. There are several methods of using this product that are good.
