Thats a good one for the archives, I know its been brought up a few times, but dont recall the answers/opinions. I personally am not sold on that style of doing ears. Start by hitting the search button, and youll see the answers posted then. Good luck to you.

Ryan it can be done, earliners with cartilage left in!Just make sure you put enough bondo to cover the front and rear of the earliner, because its sometimes hard to get the inner ear to stick to the earliner. You may get drumming.Get more bondo on the front of the ear than the back. But dont use so much they ballon out.Hope this helps

Ryan,I just completed a Mule Deer with the same ear liners & used cartilage adhesive from McKenzie and was shocked on how well it worked. I always used bondo before and had some drumming, but this works much better. I had no drumming what so ever. It is very stickey when using it so be careful not to get it on the cape. I did and had to clean it off, although it cleans up with water if you catch it in time. ( 2 hrs)

YOU WILL HAVE DRUMMING.

If you leave the cartlige in and use a ear liner you will have drumming period. It may not be today but eventualy you will.Either remove the cartlige or use bondo.Bond makes the most realistic ear in my opinoin.
