i have an older skull, possible a year old, still has some dryed meat and skin attached, ,,, how to clean? the bones are allready disinagrating some what, yes i been to search and the only quirey i could find like this one no one answered.
have used some hand tools to pull away what i could , was worried about disenfecting and such

You could boil to remove remaining flesh. I have also soaked skull in just plain water untill the meat rots off. If the rest of skull is already disinegrating, It may be time to find another and scrap this one. Try boiling to rehaydrate the skull then see how bad the rest ends up.
Take the skull and boil in sal soda from WASCO,then remove as much as you can with knife and wire brush,if you have a air grinder use a wire brush in that,then pressure wash,after that soak in a strong solution of peroxide and water, you'll probally have stains from the hair and meat being on there for so long,but you can paint with bone white spray from WASCO if ya have a air brush,if not a off white from hardware store,then poly.
