primer paint for artificial bird heads

What is the best primer to use before painting duck bills? Can I use a fish sealer or should I wait until I can get some better primer?

Try something like Krylon primer(gray or white) in spray can

I think most use something more along Krylon or other primers you would
use to prime auto body work. I suspect that the fish sealer would work
but the coloration in the other primer lets you see where you've covered. You will also want to be sure to remove this along the 'line' where you're going to glue the skin to the artificial head.

Check out the automotive place in Walmart or a car store. This is made for plastics. Spray it on twice and paint.
