Absolutely!I have done it many times with great results. The key to dry preserving a mammal skin is to work quickly. Do the normal routine of turning ears, splitting lips, eyelids, thinning and fleshing, etc. when your skin is clean do a quick wash in dawn detergent or kemal-4 and rinse. Now get the fur dried out quickly. Dry preserve the skin and mount imediately or freeze it. Use a good hide paste intended for use with dry preservative. As soon as the mount is on the form and sewing completed use a hair dryer on cool or a shop vac and blow that sucker dry. Good Luck.
