Pluck them out

I always pluck out the whiskers. Befor sending to the tannery. I keep a record of where they go and place them in an envelope. Then take a needle , poke a hole where they belong and superglue in place.

Tweezers and bend them forward.

This will work fairly well. Plucking is not needed.

Next time do the mount and on the second day, inject some caulking under neath the wiskers and watch the hair stand up. Just like the real thing.

How do you inject the caulk?

? What size needle, if that's what you use? Diluted, or straight?

cut around them

Each whisker is connected to the hide by a small ball. Take a razor blade and cut a circle around them. Making the ball seperated from the skin. After you put cape on, the whiskers will lay back. then just move them into place.
