can anyone tell me what is the best method on how to skin out the tear ducts on a blackbuck (anything special) and how do you prep the manikin for that kind of tear duct? thanks michael

Blackbuck have a larger and deeper tear duct/gland to work on. You just need to take your time. When getting ready to mount the animal you need to flesh the duct area VERY THIN. You may have to enlarge the form in this area, but not too much. You need form in their to hold the skin in place. I like to use apoxie sculpt instead of clay to model in the tear ducts on these. That way it kicks quickly and holds the skin in place. If you sew before your face work you will have to apply it through the mouth or it will kick before you have a chance to tuck it. Good Luck!
