I heard that you can use a dryer without the heating element for a tumbler.. is that true.. and if it is how good is it..

I have used my dryer for three years now with no problems. Remember to duct tape the holes inside the drum and do not tumble birds but a few minutes.

If you find you like doing birds and want to take it to the next level either buy or make a tumbler that will turn 12 rpm's and fit you skins nicely.


Dryers eventually rust

I had a dryer tumbler for several years .the drum eventually rusted and caused some bad stains on an antelope.

I understand that if I use it only to begin with.. until I can get a tumbler... thanks very much..
