I home tanned a beaver it turned out good except it is very stiff is there an oil or something I can put on it or am I to late.

You'll find TONS of this type of information in the Archives.
The "Stiffness" you're having with your tanned skin is quite normal. Did you do the Breaking process? If not, you need to by either tumbling or working the skin over the edge of a table or Saw Horse and the likes.This will break the Fibers down and soften it.You can repeat the oiling and breaking process until you achieve the softness you desire.
