Im mounting a sparrow and i cant seem to get the bone marrow out of its bones should i leave it or do some thing if so what?

Drill a hole in the large wing bone, drill hole large enough to get a wire in from the body end of the same bone.Push wire and marrow will come out, do this in a sink with water and degreaser several times, see the water get clearer.
