Airbrush cleaning ?

I have been useing Acetone after each color of Lifetone paint
only to have airbrush to quit working.is the Acetone maybe
to strong? or should I use Mineral Spirits?

Happened to me

Acetone doesn't work. Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK) is the only thing that properly mixes with Lifetone. You can't thin the paint with Laquer thinner or Acetone, it just doesn't mix with it. If you buy the Lifetone thinner(for $$$$$$$$$) you will see the MEK listed on it, but buy MEK at the hardware store for much less. Mark

MEK is toxic

Even slight exposure though skin absoption or inhalation of fumes causes kidney cancer! Stop using MEK immediately. My printing industry used to use it for rejuvenating worn printing blankets but it has been banned for years now on health grounds.
