When I thaw a deer head I place it in a cool area on plastic and cover with old towels. I wrap the ears against the neck with a trash bag which keeps the ears cold so they wont go bad. Usually takes a day or so to thaw . I don't try to hurry it, just move the skin in different areas to check on progress every few hours. For sure be careful of any area getting warm before that neck thaws. The towels hold the cool in to protect the parts that may damage. Good luck, AH
thanks ah! will do, dern computer , again sorry for a post that i know has been covered, im locked out of the search part of this forum
