I am trying to get a bobcat skin on a form of a bobcat that is laying down on it's belly. I fought thaat thing for over two hours last night. I am having problems with the back legs. I have even cut the legs off the form into three pieces, and I still can't get it to fit. According to my measurements, the form should fit. i have mounted probably 10 cats, but they have all been standing, or jumping. I have never had problems like this before. can someone please help?

Secret to these forms is to slice the back bottom leg completely off up to the "hip" Mount it separately and then fold together and wire from underneath to hold it in place.
I understand you took measurements but did you take those of the legs for your reference. Many times a manikins feet and legs are made bigger. This may need to be trimed down for the skin to slide on easy.
Just did a fox and having saved the body for reference the front legs where way to big for the fox even though the body I orderd was smaller. So check this out and just shave it down for a better fit.
After fighting for a long while your skin will also shrink and dry out. Keep it moist and try out the removing one leg and folding together. you may also need to shave the legs abit, but try other ideas first. Also, I use latex caulking for hide paste and the skin slides with it very easy. Are you useing a hide paste? It helps as a lubricant for skin to taxi better.
