My rehdration solution ( 12 gallons water, 6 lbs salt, cap of anti bacterial ) seems to be OK to re use for some other deer capes. After the first cape it is still fairly clear. The capes have already been washed after the pickle step. So would it be OK to use it again within a few days of previous capes ?
Also would it be OK to mount after rehydration, or do I need to wash them again to get the residue salt out ?

Why take a chance? Water and salt are very cheap. I would not want to risk it.
