I mounted my first whitetail.
Looking for best results in fixing the bottom lip.
I have about an 1/8th inch gap if you look up underneath
just on the sides of the mouth.

Use the flesh color and fill the gap. Make sure to taper it out as the gap disappears. Mold another lip line into it and paint over when dried.

make sure you completely turn and flesh the lip area then add a small roll of clay, trim the excess skin to 1/4" and tuck it tightly. work your skin foreward as you tuck the lip and montor it closely while drying and you will find the shrinkage is dramaticaly reduced. have fun!
