I am getting started in taxidermy, and using the advice I found here, have ordered back issues of Taxidermy Today and also ordered a subscription. The lady I spoke to was SO nice. She gave me a deal on all of the back issues they have in stock. There was 8 from previous years and all of the 2001 issues. Including my subscription, back issues, and shipping it was only $84.00 total! How can you go wrong with that? She saved me about $20.00 which may not seem like alot but when you need just about everything to start it helps. Just thought I would pass it on.
I have a few issues of National Wildlife and NY Conservationist magazine that are free to any beginner. Just post your address and I will send them (first come first serve). They have some good pics...maybe for reference or pose ideas? I have other copies so I thought someone could use them. Thank you to all who post for us.
