I am mounting my 1st deer and was wondering if I have to remove the ear cartlige before I put the earliners in. Could I just turn the ears and leave the cartlige in? If I need to remove it, is it difficult to do? Thanks for any advice.

Many post on this subject in the archives, yes you must, its easy once you learn how. the dircetions are under deerheads.
some people prefer the bondo method, then you need only rough the surface, alot of people find this easier,if you want more info
