I have a fox frozen in a my freezer for about 2 years,what would be the best way to defrost,and should it be soaked in any type solution
after skinning? Any other helpful comments would be appreciated.

If you can thaw it out for four or five hours and then skin out the main body, you will be doing great. that legs are probanly freezer burned and will be terrible to skin. skin them out as far as you can and then put the whole fox into a pickle solution for a while. keep checking it until you can skin out the rest of it and flesh the skin the rest of the way if for any reason the fox isn't freeze dried, yu will be happy and the skinning will go good. I wouldn't wait untill the whole animal is room temp, just skin it as soon as it's flexable enough to skin it.
Thaw out overnight completely soaking in room temp water. Will not
harm anything and may even start rehydrating any freezer burn areas.
Nothing wrong with skinning out wet, you'll need to wash when done
regardless.
