I just found a perfectly good softshell turtle on the edge of my lake and i was wondering if there was a way to preserve the shell . If not, can i skin some of it. I already plan to clean the skull but i would like to use the rest of the turtle too. If there's nothing i can do but burry it and get the bones, how much will it cost to send it to a taxidermist. Any help would be highly appreciated.
