I have a question for you experienced people out there, I am a beginner and my question is if I have a squirrel skin that has been skinned and fleshed, is there any chemical or salt that I can buy locally to rub into the skin that would give me the same effect without ordering a dry preservative, or must I use the dry preservative. And also If i didnt have the mannakin on hand would the preserved skin need to be frozen or can it just lay out in room temperature and for how long? Appreciate any help.
