OIL PAINTS?

Submitted by steve on 3/13/02. ( ) 206.162.192.39

Going off of Sallie's A-Z video, she uses Windsor and Newton oil paints. My question is, what is everyone using for their white tail schedules? I just went to order titanium white and the ivory black, and was told they were no longer available. With me being a begginer, i thought i'd ask before i went and ordered colors i don't need. Are these colors available else where? Any response is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Steve.

T. White and Ivory black are fairly standard colors, esp the T white.
I usually or them from the above link. These colors are listed in the lastest catalog.

Titanium white and ivory black are still out there, you just might have to hunt for them! Check any store that might have art supplies. They may come as Grumbacher, Rembrandt or Bob Ross, but they are still out there. Learning oil paints is a worthwhile project.

I prefer using oil paints on my whitetail eyes. I like the softer look they achieve. Good Luck

oil paint edges have to be manually feathered'''''''''

this can be time consuming , but artisticly rewarding .airbrush edges are naturally feathered. this speeds up painting on commercial quality work. most customers probably wont truly appreciate your dedication to lifelikeness, but if you think its worth the extra effort, then it is!
