I'm not a taxidermist but am in need of some help. I have a turkey fan about 8 years old and would like to restore them . They are becoming worn looking and the feathers are out of shape. Is there any hope? thanks JOhn

Even turkeys molt because of wear on their feathers and your mount is no longer able to do that. The barbs and barbules of the feather have eroded and nothing we know of can grow them back.
