holes

i just finished skinning and fleshing a fisher,that was killed by shotgun,then frozen.it has at least 50,to 75 holes. how can i mount it and prevent the hyde paste from leaking out allover the fur. oris it junk? thanks , bob m.

or in a case like this, you could patch with super glue and dryer sheets (or the like), but I get stiff spots from the glue being hard.

hide the hide paste

if you get your form fitting properly and use a pin here and a pin there, (just like in the olden days), Mother Nature will shrink the hide down onto your form for you, as it dries. the holes still need attention, but dont get the mindset that every single mount has to have hide paste.
