As youve noticed,Im in the beginner forum.Im mounting a lifesize racoon.Should I use regular hide paste or epoxy hide paste?I havent tried the epoxy yet.And now about the eyes,do I measure the entire diameter of the eyeball after removing it from the skull?And one more for the road,should I use the ear bondo kit from WASCO or use earliners?I have a half inch hole in one ear.Thanks for any advice...

Sew up the hole in the ear and use either bondo or liners. Liners are easyer to get a better looking ear when you are inexperianced at mounting. Remove all the cartalige though. As fo a hide paste, i use acrylic caulking as a hide paste. Now have you allready boght the form? the suppliers cataloge will tell you the correct size eyes for the form you are getting. other than that, you measure accross the colored part of the eye after you skin it. don't measure the white sides.
