I recently decided to do my own skull mount. When deciding how to mount it on a plaque, I was not impressed with what was available and decided to design my own. In trying to maintain an overall sense of rustic beauty, I choose to mount it on barn wood using horsehoes welded together. I am very pleased with the results. I think this style might be found quite desirable by others and am contemplating an attempt at fabricating them for sale to taxidermist to offer along with your other styles.
