going to do a turkey fan mount. Do you guys wash and dry them like a duck hide or will it just ruin them? thanks

If the tail is clean and free of blood and greese you don't need to wash it. If it is dirty or the feathers are bent you can wash it just like any other birds tail. This same thing applies to pheasants.
