While skinning a fox this weekend, I pulled off the tip of it's tail. Can this be fixed and how?

After you mount up the fox all you need is to apply hide paste to the tail wire and then insert the tail. Let dry and all should be just fine.

If the peice is intact and has any length to it,just split it open on the underside like the rest of the tail and tan it along with the rest of the hide.After tanning get a small needle and thin thread and sew it back on,then sew your tail up and proceed.Otherwise keep it as is and tan it and put your tail skin into the wire or tail form and glue the tip on with a good epoxy,making sure it lines up properly.
