Just recieved a lynx and was wondering if it was suitable putting it on a bobcat form, they dont have too many nice lynx forms on the market.

Why not take a Lynx form and alter it to your liking. If you choose to use a bobcat form plan on altering every part cause they are different.
The biometrics are very different. I suppose one could alter a bobcat form and then go on to bigger things, like using a whitetail for an elk mount, or a lynx for a cougar......If you hone your skills, you may be able to stock just one mammal form for all species....LOL. Modify a lynx form to suit your purpose, like Frank said.
