Is it allright to freeze a bird after it has been skinned out untill you are ready to work on it at a later time.. Will putting it back in the freezer do anything to the feathers..

I skin and freeze and have not noticed any problems. (mostly larger birds such as turkeys and geese) I've started using vacuum sealed bags and they really make me confident for long term freezer storage. Smaller birds, well I would usually keep'em whole until ready to mount. Just thaw - skin - prep and mount all within a couple hours or less.

As for the feathers, just dont bend or break any when packaging to freeze.

Yep this has just been covered yesterday.

A little research, just be sure you freeze and thaw them fast without hours and hours of waiting.
