Salt (Types)

Hey fellas (and Ladies), I am about to salt a raw hide and make a pickel. I purchased a bag of agricultural mixing salt from the local feed/supply store. will this serve my needs? I am not sure if there is any difference in salt types. Thanks for the information.

Stock mixing salt is normally fine grained. it may contain yellow purssate of soda to prevent caking. You have what you need.
