My question is after the caped and lets say not yet fleshed, can I then put the cape in the freezer, and then later come back to flesh it, and later again to tan it? any help would be appreciated? or exactly how should it go..

Yes freeze then flesh when your ready to unthaw to do it you can freeze it again but dont recmend it cause bacteria is starting if your going to tan salt it down real good let ti soak up the moisture then take that salt off then salt it again freeze it or let stay salted till then with salt on it wont freeze if your going to use Dry preservative freeze it in the raw unsalted state but if you have time dp it and mount it then because of bacteria in which may cause hair slippage good luck need anything let me know Robin
