Hi there,
I just purchased my first skin, a nyala. I'm wondering about an unsightly patch along the side. It just doesn't look professionally patched. I'm sure all skins have imperfections, but I have no idea what's acceptable and what isn't. Here's a picture of the patch: http://home.mindspring.com/~grasshoppah/patch-sm.jpg Is this normal? It really sticks out like a sore thumb! Should I return the skin for an exchange, or do all skins have patches like this?
Thanks in advance for any advice!

It sure doesn't look very professionally patched like you said. what I would do, and that is only my personal opinion and choice on this one, is cut the patch back out and pull the hole together. If you cut it out in the shape of a football and pull the two sides together, you ought to be able to sew it up without being noticed. You will most likely have to go with a slightly smaller form, but it might be just worth it. That's how I fix balt spots and large bulletholes on my capes and so far it always turned out great.
