The buck's ear has a hole in it.

I have a buck here with a perfectly round hole in its ear. About 3/4th of an inch round. It was probably there for about two years, or so. To give you an idea what it looks like, there is some dead bare skin around the hole maybe about 3/16th of an inch and then the hair. What is the best way to fix this, or can you?

make it original

If it was my personal deer, I would keep it original, it no doubt took a slug through the ear. I would do the ears as normal, useing an earliner, and when the ear was set up, I would take a dremel tool and cut out the hole, and then use some epoxie sculpt, that you can get from WASCO,and recreate what you see, and produce what was there, it will be something to talk about. rw.

sounds like a 54 caliber maxiball hole

talk your customer into leaving it that way. its unusual and gives the mount character. dont you think? you know, the deer that cheated death more than once, and finally met his match........
