Damaged boar ear

I am doing a boar whose ears had been pretty chewed by the dogs and also had old damage too. I turned the ears as best as I could but the skin on top of the ears is torn pretty badly. How would you go about fixing this?

Mark,

I've had the same problem more than once and here's how I fix it.
Turn the ear as far as possible. Try to get it turned around the torn areas. I then take a dryer sheet that the wife uses in the clothes and cut it a little biger than the damaged part of the ear. I super glue it all the way around the edges. This gives me something to keep the bondo from oozing out all over the place. If I have any part of the ear that I can't turn, I will inject it with formaldahide and card till dry. Once dry I use apoxie sculpt to smooth in the damaged area of the ear. I will also use a tooth brush to texture the sculpted area.
Hope this helps.

I simply cut the inside of the tears and or notches open and turn the hole ear like you would with a good ear. I mount up the ear with a good ear linner with Five minute epoxy and after it sets, i cut the shapes of the torn out sections out and after the ear completely dries up I rebuild the edges with epoxy sculpt. i have done ears very many different ways, and this way is the quickest and it allows you to match the tears and notches perfectly.
