When I took my measurements I used the basic eye to nose, and the two around the neck (right behind the ears). The problem I am having is that the neck on my (full sneak) maniken seems to be to short in length. The brisket and shoulders on my hide and on the maniken do not meet up, causing the skin not wrap all the way arond the shoulders on the maniken.( also the hair pattern is about 6" past where the brisket is on my maniken. Thanks for the help if you can understand what the hell i'm asking.

Order a mannikin thats two sizes smaller than that one. 6 inches is a long way to make up, but this is normally the problem.
Lets think this through, shall we Scott? What would naturally happen when a deer lowers his head at the neck/shoulder juncture, and lift the head slightly at the head/neck juncture? You got it, the skin would gather quite a bit at the BACK of the neck, and again in FRONT of the brisket. Go ahead and place the brisket where it belongs, and then adjust the skin. Once you get all the width out of the cape, it will take away some of the length...
it sounds like you may have a problem with your sholder they may need to be langthen, what form is it ,Jonas, some of there forms are to short in the sholders, but there is method to check the neck and to see if its to short, just messure the the head from the side from front to back, your neck should be the same give a inch or two, if your neck is the same and you know now what your problem is the sholders, but check it frist to see. this is a sculpters trick it works for me , hope this helps you in your work , ht
I mount about 10 to 15 full sneaks a year. Put everything where it is suppose to be and work with it. Sneaks make a nice mount you just have to work with them. Bill told you exactly right, think about how the deers skin would be in that position. I am sure the sculpter done his job and if you lengthen that mannikin you will have a strange looking deer.
I appriciate all your help, thanks.
