Can anyone help me? I have a silver fox mount that the nose paint is peeling off of, I had done the mount three years ago. Also some of my other mammals have cracks around the eyes. What can I do to prevent this in the future? Thankyou

might be the fleshing sounds possible to me too much grease left on skin . if you find out for sure let us know.
were the hides tanned or did you use dry preservative? If it is the latter that most likely will be the reason why.
In an auto tanner, I used base coat sealer first and then lacquer paint.
