I opened the belly and eviscerated the little bugger. Then I filled him with polyfill (pillow fill) and sewed him up. I cut a piece of cardboard so the the whole body would fit through it without the opened wings. I lay this on an uncut piece of cardboard and lay the bat on it. I opened the wings all the way and pinned them in the position I wanted. Then I covered it with a piece of cardboard and stapled the 3 pieces together. I put it in the freezer section of my frost free fridge and left it there for about 3 months. Freezedried the sucker without leaving the farm. Then I put glass bubble eyes in and sent it on it's way to the museum.
