Chad, for something as large as a coyote second day air should be fine. If it is a smaller mammal or a reptile it should go next day air. Wrap thre specimen in a lot of tight layers of newspapers. This will aid in keeping the core temperature of the animal cold. Small ice packs are also a good idea, but add to the weight. Dry Ice is not an option as it is considered a hazardous substance and cannot go by airplane. A styrofoam cooler box, inside a cardboard box is also a great idea!

Wrap small frozen animals securely in aluminum foil and then pack in fibreglass insulation. Larger animals you can eliminate the aluminum foil. Second day is best but in winter regular ground will work.l
