Curious Questions

Submitted by James Vredenburg on 6/16/02. ( jvreden@aol.com ) 64.12.96.231

I am just starting the learning process of taxidermy and have a few questions. When someone refers to the cape, they are talking about the actual skin, correct? Can a person just buy a cape from someone and then purchase a kit from WASCO to do there first shoulder mount to practice on, so as to start out with? Does anyone have any capes for sale with the antlers and all for some to practice with? Can someone send me a list of basic tools needed to do a shoulder mount? Am I getting a head of my self with this size of a first project? I know there are other basic things to I could do first. Any suggestions? I am very excited to get started and learn.

Thanks for any help that can be provided.

James
