what exactly do you need help with? Does the book you have explains about the fleshing process? Fox are very prone to hairloss.I really don't know if a fox with a summercoat would make a good mount, but it will be good for you to get some practise on. Just be more specific what you need help with and I'll try to help you.

About the form

did you measure from tip of the nose to base of tail? Also need to measure your girth. Biggest part around the belly, approx. halfway between front legs and back legs. Then get the eye to nose measurement. Measure from the front corner of the eye to the tip of the nose. You might have to go with a kit fox form and then shorten it. Shortening a form is not hard. Cut a slice out of the belly on the form and bondo back together. This should also reduce some on the girth. Go look in McKenzie and Research and check out the kit foxes. There are a couple of juvenile grey fox forms.

One more thing

you can also lenthen the kit form if it is too short. Cut it in half. Hold the two parts of the form together with some larger pins. Make sure the parts are seperated the amount of length that you need to add. Wrap the opening with ducktape and leave a little opening on the top. Pour in some two part foam. Don't pour too much though. That stuff expands quickly and a lot. A little foam goes a long way. After the foam is cured you can peel the excess foam off of the form and rasp it down a little to smoothen out the transition.

thanks
